1.)Sennheiser MX85 Sport Series II Twist to Fit Earbuds

I have just recently received my new MX85′s and they are fantastic. I previously had the green MX75′s which served me perfectly for over 1,000km’s of running. These new orange MX85′s are very similar in design with only 2 noticeable differences. The first being the little piece that clips into the top of your ear is softer, giving the new earphones a more comfortable fit overall. Secondly, the stiff wire has been replace by a softer wire in the MX85′s. Time will tell if this softer approach will last as long.
Prior to the MX75′s, I had tried a lot of different earphones for exercise. I always ended up spending a considerable part of my run either holding one earphone in or readjusting them and it drove me spare. These earphones solved the problem immediately.
I found the best way to use these earphones is to put the wire under my shirt and then use the included clip on my collar to hold the wire in place. I never have to adjust my earphones during a run and the sound quality is outstanding. I don’t notice the Bass problems that others have mentioned, but then again, I use these only for exercise.

Money well spent and purpose built for runners!!!

2.)Sennheiser MX680 Sport Series II Twist to Fit Earbuds

By : C. Loporchio (AMAZON)I have to admit that I was dubious of these when I first saw them. Ear fins do not seem like they would be comfortable, and I could see how it would be a problem. At first it was a little strange, but after using them for a while I do not even notice the fins anymore. The sound is good for ear buds that are only used to work out, and I actually use them just walking around. The bright yellow is a little intense for my tastes, but nobody really seems to notice unless I point it out. These work great for what they were intended for. The extension cable does not degrade the sound enough to matter at all, I actually did not notice any degradation, and since I do not own a iPod Shuffle, some of the reported problems with that system (which seem like a design flaw that that product more that this one) do not exist for me. Very happy with this purchase overall. It should be noted that those who are worried about different size ears should be able to find something close to their size in the pile of extras that come with this ear bud set.The downside would be that they are not as high performing as some of the other Sennheiser audio listening devices. This is not all that surprising considering they are not designed for in depth listening but being active, and in that they excel. Even jumping around for four hours strait and slinging heavy boxes around does not move these out of place.

Absolutely great for running and working out. I have tried a dozen headphones for running in the past couple of years. Purchased these 3 hot/sweaty months ago and used extensively since. Has provided my first ever completely unencumbered runs with great sound (no annoying cord bouncing, buds falling out, cord tugs, sweat-blocking, etc.).

I’ve read other reviews that cited bass and other sound issues. I think it’s safe to assume that they didn’t realize or understand that these are in-CANAL ear BUDS and have to be inserted in the ear as such. If you’re looking for in-EAR vs in-canal speakers (in-ear allows you to still hear traffic & other sounds for safety), I would highly recommend the Sennheiser MX70 Sport.

I rarely review items online, but I feel these are worth it. I spend A LOT of time running (5k, 10k 1/2 and full marathons) and I have spent a ton of money on headphones that are “made for sports”. I have at least 10 pairs of sports headphones ranging from $30 to $180 and none have ever worked for running…until now. I have put in 130 miles in the last 3 weeks (training for the Boston marathon) and absolutely love these headphones! I can run for 3+ hours at a time and never have to touch them. They don’t move or bounce around, they don’t hurt your ears like typical in ear headphones do, and they are super light. Sound quality is as good or better than any other sports headphones I have tried. If youare a runner, then I assure you that you will be happy with these. The only down side (if you can really call it that) is that if you spend a lot of time in the gym lifting weights, then they will get in the way sometimes if you are trying to lay down on the bench. Other than that, I consider them flawless!!

M6-BK head phones…I struggle to find headphones that will stay in especially when running. I had given up and just used the overhead versions that stayed in but did not work well with wind etc. I read the reviews on these and decided to try them and I am shocked at how well these work. They stay in, are comfortable and even have a clip that holds the wire to my shirt (which I would have never even thought about). I have never written a review on any product but felt strongly enough to share my experience as like many people I often buy some product like this only to have it not work.
